My freezer broke down and due to covid 19 I didn’t want to have someone come in and repair it. Deep freezers we’re sold out every where and this has been perfect. I have solely used it in home can’t wait to take it in a road trip.

I would like to introduce myself; I have my own shop for refrigerator, cooler, etc. repairing This unit has a remarkable Wancool compressor which it freezes down to -5℉ to 50℉. I own an ARB fridge freezer that holds 37 quarts and I paid it for $900. Most coolers have a range from -4°F to 50°F. For my testing purpose, I put ice-cream and I was running the freezer for 12 hours, I have set my freezer to -7°F max cool and I discovered that when I took the ice-cream out after 12 hours, I had to leave it out to soften a little bit.

I'm using this unit in a semi and it...is....awesome. Cooled down quickly during the hot months and an added benefit....I would shut the electrical off on the weekends and on Sunday, I'd turn it back on to get my drinks cold again....

I brought this cooler to use in the rv because the refrigerator in the slide doesn't stay cold during hot days. This cooler comes to temperature quickly. I used my thermometer to check the temperature. I did notice a few degrees different so I just adjusted the setting. It runs quietly. No more trips to buy ice!

Will my travel cooler drain my car battery?
Yes! Avoid letting the cooler run for more than a few hours if the car's engine is switched off.
Example:
Suppose you plug your 30 W thermoelectric cooler into the 12V car's cigarette lighter. Theoretically this will provide you (12 x 30 =) 360 Wh.
In practice however, only 210 Wh will be available because a lead-acid battery cannot be discharged by more than 50% or it may be damaged.
The cooler can therefore only operate for (210/30 =) 7 hours without the engine running.
